A strong partner for our lab
In October 2017 the BayWa Foundation already announced the support of the BIOTOPIA Lab in the course of its donation gala. With a funding amount of 800,000 euros it supports the planning, establishment and operation of the BIOTOPIA Lab. The aim of the BayWa Foundation is to promote sustainable educational projects in the fields of healthy nutrition and renewable energies.
'The BIOTOPIA Lab is all about learning through experience. Young and old alike are given exciting impetus here to engage directly with nature and science.
As the BayWa Foundation, we are pleased to support this approach to sustainable knowledge transfer and also to give the important topic of healthy nutrition a place in this experiential space. It is important to us to raise young people's awareness of our environment and nature at an early age.'
