On Saturday 14 October 2023, the Museum Mensch und Natur will once again open its doors for Die Lange Nacht der Münchner Museen. From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., interested visitors can see the popular permanent exhibition, the exhibition "Ganz nah - Kleine Käfer ganz groß" (Very close - small beetles big) as well as a preview of the new special exhibition Ausstellungen.
In addition to a wheel of fortune, there will also be various hands-on stations - including some experiments from the BIOTOPIA Lab. Thematically, the focus is on the special exhibition Bones and Skeletons, which the Museum Mensch und Natur is currently preparing. Guests can also buy geodes and bring to light the crystals hidden inside.
From 6:15 p.m. to 12:15 a.m., visitors can experience the incredible forces at work in an earthquake simulator (max. 15 people per run, registration in the museum foyer).
Until 0:30 a.m., the CaféBar Limulus will provide refreshments.
