Meat the Future MMN Fotos Kathrin Glaw 6On the occassion of BIOTPOIA's Festival EAT, the exhibition "MEAT THE FUTURE" is showcasing from May 25 - June 23 in the Museum Mensch und Natur, during the opening hours of the museum.

What will be on our plates in 10 years?

These questions involve all of us: Is lab-grown meat from the bioreactor an alternative? Will only rice, beans and algae burgers be put on our plates in the future? Or maybe insects? In view of large-scale livestock farming, a growing world population and climate change, we have to rethink our approach to meat production and consumption.

Question your eating habits and explore the eating culture of the future! 30 dishes made from cultured meat give an insight into what could lie on our plates in the future.
