Mission 2030 is dedicated to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015. These goals include economic goals ("No Poverty"; "No Hunger"; "Decent Work and Economic Growth") as well as social change ("Gender Equality"; "Sustainable Consumption and Production"; "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions") and ecological change ("Climate Protection"; "Life on Land"; "Life Under Water"). To achieve the 2030 goals, all countries of the world are called upon to pull together and make the world sustainable.
The interactive traveling exhibition brings 7 of the 17 SDGs to life.
As a visitor, you go on an exciting world tour through seven countries on four continents and experience a different SDG in each country. In the process, you get to know young people who report on their everyday lives and thus make the SDGs vivid and tangible.
Mission 2030 is aimed primarily at young people from the 7th grade and adults. However, younger children accompanied by older people can also have fun at the exhibition. There is plenty to try out and play with. School classes can book programs through the exhibition on the topic of education for sustainable development. We have provided information for school classes on a separate page.
The exhibition has already been shown in Osnabrück, Oldenburg and Dortmund and is now on display in southern Germany for the first time.
