Data protection notice and consent for photo film and film recordings by the organizer for the purpose of press and public relations work

Status August 2022

Before, during and after the event, photographs, film and sound recordings will be made for the purpose of informing the public and for the purpose of reporting and public relations, on which you may be seen. By participating in the our event you give your consent for yourself and for whom you have custody to take photographs, film and sound recordings. We will publish the images in the following media, if applicable:

- social media

- on our online presence / online / mail

- on the online and social media presences of our cooperation partners

We process the data on the basis of Article 6(1)(e), (f) and Article 6(1)(a) and where applicable Article 8 DSGVO General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). We may share your data with processors such as: Agencies, social media and photographers or to third parties such as representatives of press to pursue the above purposes. We delete the data when the purpose is no longer to be achieved.

In the context of processing your data in our social media channels, we draw your attention to the following points:

We cannot guarantee complete deletion of your data, as content data may be shared, copied and archived by third parties without us being able to influence this. Processing may occur outside the EU, where the EU level of data protection is not reliably achieved. We therefore only do this if we have your explicit contractual consent to do so (Art. 49 (1) a and b DSGVO). We refer to our online privacy policy with regard to the data protection provisions as well as the enforcement of your data subject rights.

Revocation

If you do not agree, we ask that you contact us or the film team immediately on site and object to the use of your images. In case of a revocation, Biotopia will delete the images from the Biotopia social media accounts and remove them from the Biotopia website. However, this does not exclude that the photos remain visible and reproducible in the timelines of other users. Biotopia cannot guarantee complete deletion on the Internet for the reasons mentioned above.

Your rights
